In Reutlingen we took a test to see what our top 5 strengths were. Having this knowledge will allow me to be aware of what I am good at and what I need to improve upon to be able to succeed in a team. Knowing these strengths lets me feel confident when approaching situations where they can be applicable.

Leadership Values
TRUST
As a leader getting your team to trust you is one of the most important things to do. When the team trusts the leader fully, they will be more willing to do the assigned work and they will feel comfortable enough to approach the leader with new ideas or concerns that they have. While getting the teams trust is extremely important, it is just as important to give trust as well. People want to feel independent and do their own work so a leader needs to be able to trust his team to do what is needed. Once there is mutual trust amongst the team and the leader, it will make the workplace much more comfortable and will make the team overall more efficient.
Vision
In order to be a good leader, you need to have vision. It is important as a leader to always have high aspirations and be looking towards the future. This was there is always room for improvement and the job can always get done better. As a member of the team it is important to see a leader with vision so that they know that there is always room for improvement. This will keep everybody's creativity up and people will constantly be thinking of ways to better the job that they are doing.
Communication
Strong communication skills is something that every leader must have. The leader is in charge and tells the team what to do. They need to be able to communicate effectively what needs to be done and how it needs to be done in order to be successful. They need be able to communicate effectively verbally as well as over email so that they can talk to everyone, especially in these Covid times where the majority of work is being done online.
